[Edgeworth breathes a sigh of relief. Thank you for avenging his hair, Boreas. He'll repay you if anything tries to get your hair next.

Anyway, the injured crow he took down is trying to hop away. Mercilessly Edgeworth drives the point of his saber into one of its wings, pinning it to the ground.]

Let's see if these things are capable of speech.

[ Hair is extremely important to a gentleman's image. How could he let a fellow man of culture suffer such an indignity? ]

Speak, vermin! Where is your master?

[ The crow, surprisingly, can talk. Even if it's screeching speech, it's understandable. ]

P=please! Have mercy!

[ IT'S NOT ANSWERING THE QUESTION... ]

[The crow will not get any sympathy from Edgeworth, who glares coldly at it while still clutching his saber and ensuring that the bird is properly impaled.

He flinches when he hears the bird speak. Really, why should he be surprised again? And yet, he still is. Plus, the screech wasn't exactly music to his ears.]

So, they are capable of speech. Perhaps we can bargain with it, as well.

[Edgeworth peers down at the trapped bird, his glare easing up only slightly.]

Answer his question, and we'll...consider sparing your life.
