Begone!
[ He focuses a bolt of ice from the tip of his sword, managing to strike one bird and bring it to the ground. How is Edgeworth faring? ]

I got one! I just need to immobilize it enough - [He ducks as another bird swoops over his head, bringing with it its disgusting stench.] to keep it alive, but with no chance - [Edgeworth stabs his sword upward, but misses. He tries again.] - of escape!
[With that last word, he lops off part of the second crow's wing, sending it off its course as it wheels and corkscrews.]

Good!
[ Is one enough? One seems to be enough. He's in the mood to skewer the rest. ]
no subject
Anyway, the injured crow he took down is trying to hop away. Mercilessly Edgeworth drives the point of his saber into one of its wings, pinning it to the ground.]
Let's see if these things are capable of speech.

Speak, vermin! Where is your master?
[ The crow, surprisingly, can talk. Even if it's screeching speech, it's understandable. ]
P=please! Have mercy!
[ IT'S NOT ANSWERING THE QUESTION... ]
no subject
He flinches when he hears the bird speak. Really, why should he be surprised again? And yet, he still is. Plus, the screech wasn't exactly music to his ears.]
So, they are capable of speech. Perhaps we can bargain with it, as well.
[Edgeworth peers down at the trapped bird, his glare easing up only slightly.]
Answer his question, and we'll...consider sparing your life.
